Well now is the time because they made some changes to the operating agreement that will make the program better for everyone. Most importantly Amazon changed their tune in the policy for Offline Linking.
You can now include links to products pages in your newsletter and via DM's as long as people optin for these messages.
In another update they provide clarity on the use of AI: Program Content and Special Links should not be used in connection with generative Al.
I'm sure you aren't using AI to generate content for Amazon right? If you are, stop it now 😂
Most of the other items in the updated User Agreement are pretty much the same and honestly, I feel like taking a nap every time I try to read through them -- but I love the concise explanations on the Dos and Don’ts page they shared.
Another big change is an update to the Amazon Live app that allows you to create Clips from your past live stream from right inside the app. I'm also super excited to share this demo with you for how to create Clips.
Easily create them from our past Amazon Live streams, and best of all, they have already been pre-selected.
😂 It's like Opus Clips and Amazon Live had a baby!
This is a fantastic timesaver and I love how you can just share the clip from the App on social media if you want to give people a sample of what they missed.
