Some membership platforms offer additional features and benefits that may be valuable to you, such as the ability to sell digital products, offer team accounts, or access a private audio RSS feed.
Patreon has a free setup, but charges an 8% fee for pro users and 12% for premium users, while Buy Me a Coffee charges a 5% processing fee. Patreon offers the ability to sell digital products. Both platforms offer private RSS feed for audio content and Patreon has an integration with Spotify.
Additionally, Substack offers a private audio RSS feed option as well.
You will also need to determine the type of exclusive content you want to offer for your audience. Decide whether it's videos, audio, text, or a combination. Consider your audience's preferences and what delivery methods they're most likely to engage with.
Find out if you can create different tiers of membership with varying benefits and pricing. This will allow you to cater to subscribers with different interests and budgets.
Think about offering branded merchandise or other products and services to your subscribers. This can be an additional source of revenue and a way to further engage your audience.
