Spotify video podcasting just got an upgrade! The content hub has been renamed from Spotify for Podcasters to Spotify for Creator which shows their intention to seize the moment and appeal to a wider audience of content creators.
At the end of this short video you'll see the new feature they just added that we can use to promote our shows.

Reason why I say is it really a podcast? Yes, it is really a podcast, but your video. If you were going to upload video to Spotify, people would only see that video on Spotify if they were subscribed and overcast or Pocket Cast or Apple. It will be audio. But yes, you have an RSS feed, which means it's still a podcast, contrary to the way it is on YouTube.
Because on YouTube you upload your videos to your video podcast, but that video can only be watched on YouTube and you can't distribute it other places. Not without an additional step of still going out and getting a regular podcast host. So this is why I say Spotify is coming for YouTube with this one. Because it's less steps for you if you want to do a video podcast. It's less steps for you if you're using Spotify.
