Exciting update to the YouTube Shopping Affiliate program. We can add a store tab to our Channel by creating a shopping collection. This just launched so the interface may change and improve but for now we need to set this up on our phone using the YouTube Creator Studio App.
In this video you will learn how to create your first collection. Choose a relevant theme for your collection that aligns with your content and audience interests. Create a square cover image, a title and a short description.
Just like with your videos, SEO plays a crucial role in attracting viewers to your collections. Use relevant keywords and compelling language to entice people to explore your curated products list. Think about what products your viewers would find valuable or interesting. Compare the prices and commission rates offered by each retailer in order to pick the best option to feature in your collection.
